Are you aged 14-18 and an artist who wants to learn how to paint big?

If so this is a fantastic, fun, yet action packed course you will love. Working on a 1.5m high canvas you will learn how to scale up a real panto design and we will have the actual designer Alexander McPherson to advise us as we work. There will be a bit of pantomime history as well as looking at the process, materials and techniques that go into creating a huge pantomime back cloth.

 

You will paint a section of the cloth and when we put the sections together it will create an impressive backdrop. At the end of the course you will have a lot of photographs of the process and the final piece which will make a wonderful addition to your portfolio. In addition to this you will have gained an insight into the world of a scenic artist and mastered some of the skills.
