This is a very popular course which covers various wood finishes from textured oak planks to a fine polished mahogany. Some of the finishes will use varnishes found within the furniture industry to build up many layers creating a stunning faux finish. As always you will be guided step-by-step through each process and given plenty of opportunity to practice along the way.

 

The final project for wood brings your skills together to paint a beautiful marquetry table top which really is spectacular and gives students a great sense of accomplishment.
