Course Description

It covers a huge amount including; preparing scenery, some basic decorating, an effective wood grain project, simple sign writing, using stencils to create a tiled floor and ageing using a spray gun. Throughout we cover a lot of information about materials and the many techniques used in scenic painting. Students work on an individual two metre set and practice their skills, culminating in some set dressing which adds personality to the portfolio pictures.

PAYMENT POLICY AND PROCEDURE - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY Once we have received your order an invoice will be issued to the email given, please check your junk email. You are required to make payment within 24 hours to secure your place. To give some flexibility there are three payment options. Please decide which one you would like and indicate on the Booking Form. 100% payment - BANK TRANSFER If you pay the full amount by bank transfer within 24 hours of invoice there will be no additional charge. 50:50 % - BANK TRANSFER If you wish to pay a 50% deposit by bank transfer within 24 hours, the invoice for the remaining payment will be automatically emailed 30 days before the course starts and any payments not made within 24 hours will result in both your deposit and course place being forfeited. This adds a £10 administration fee. 100% CARD PAYMENT If you wish to pay by card, you will be emailed a payment link and you are required to make payment within 24 hours to secure your place. There will be a 2.5% extra charge on your invoice for this which is £16.25 for a £650 course. If payments are not made within 24 hours of your invoice being sent your place will be made available to other students. We will not chase late payments and your place is not secured unless the payment is received. We do not offer credit or staged payment under any circumstances, please do not ask. If you have PAID IN FULL and given us 30 days notice that you are unable to attend the course we will issue a gift voucher for the next available course. It will be your responsibility for re-booking again using the online system. You will not have priority over other students without a gift voucher. There will be no refund of deposits at all and no direct refund of amounts paid in full..
