This is an action packed six day course....oh yes it is!

 

We are very privileged to work from designs by theatre designer Alexander McPherson; Alexander has designed theatre and opera productions across the UK and Europe for over 60 years and was head of design at Bristol Old Vic Theatre.

 

Students take a small section of their chosen cloth, enlarge it onto a 1.2x1.5 section of canvas and then paint. There are wonderful opportunities to bring your personality and humour to this project, resulting in beautiful images for your portfolio. Alex is very much part of the process and checks in on us every day to give his invaluable experience and advice.
