The glass and ceramic week gives students an insight into creating more specialist and complex paint finishes. There are opportunities to make a variety of glass finishes: stained glass with leaded tape and translucent coloured varnishes, etched glass, and glass using vac-form. The second half of the course works on a complex mosaic design and a Portuguese inspired faux ceramic tile sample.

 

This course is a fascinating insight into materials and techniques not covered in any other of our courses, it also only runs once per year.
